With all the "presets" on the DOMINO, there are a lot of numbers to keep track of. Now some people can see a set of numbers and be able to visualize what they mean - in 2-D or even 3-D. I'm NOT one of those people. I need to SEE IT - at full scale - in black and white, and if color will help me see IT better then I want that too.

So, being a Visual Learner, I put together some Visual Aid "Templates". The"templates" show not only where, relative to an edge the mortise will be located but also an idea of which "thickness gauge" setting will place the mortise where you want it - relative to the Reference Face the fence will be placed on. If I print them out - on something transparent, or at least sufficiently translucent, I can cut them out and use them on the Actual Part I want to mortise and SEE which of the options available best fit what I'm trying to do.

NOTE: THE FOLLOWING "TEMPLATES"/ VISUAL AIDS ARE NOT ACCURATE TO 0.001" BUT THEY'RE CLOSE ENOUGH TO VISUALIZE WHERE THE MORTISE OR MORTISES WILL BE.

The 5 & 6 mm visual aid and the 8 & 10mm visual aid below are GIF files you can download and print off line. Each should fit on an 8 1/2 x 11 page.
